Bitbucket pull-request review, planned for VeriFlow

Bitbucket is not available or activated yet. We’re exploring a planned integration for pull-request review automation, inline comments, suggestion blocks, and pipeline status. The details below describe the proposed shape only.

Planned integration

A proposed Bitbucket review flow

If shipped, the Bitbucket connection would be designed around pull-request activity and the same clear review loop available on GitHub. No Bitbucket installation or credential request is available from this page.

Inline pull-request comments

The planned experience could anchor findings to a path and line in the pull-request diff, with context and a recommended fix.

Bitbucket-native suggestions

Suggestion blocks are part of the proposed design; whether and how they ship will be confirmed before launch.

Security-pass findings

The planned flow would consider the same security review themes as the live product, including auth gaps, secrets, injection, and dependency risk.

Pipeline-aware status

A future implementation could aggregate review findings into a per-commit pipeline status, subject to the final integration design.

Proposed Bitbucket Pipelines flow

Planned webhook and status behavior

The following describes a possible future implementation. It does not register a webhook, create a pipeline, or activate a Bitbucket connection today.

Register the webhook

A future flow could use a workspace-level webhook for repo:push and pull-request lifecycle events.

Verify the payload

A planned implementation would validate event headers and signatures before a payload reached the review loop.

Read the event context

The proposed flow could use the event identifiers to associate activity with the relevant repository and pull request.

Publish review status

A future pipeline step could publish one aggregate VeriFlow status for branch restrictions and merge visibility.

Proposed permissions

A proposed minimum scope shape

These are planning notes, not a live permission request. Final scopes and webhook behavior will be confirmed before Bitbucket becomes available.

account:read
planned read-only — The proposed integration would use this to identify the Bitbucket user associated with a future connection.
repository:read
planned read-only — The proposed scope would read the repository tree at the pull request head so review stays focused on changed code.
repository:write
planned write — A future implementation could use this for a suggestion commit when a review is configured to offer a fix.
pullrequest:read
planned read-only — The planned flow could read pull-request diffs and activity associated with supported webhook events.
pullrequest:write
planned write — The proposed scope would cover inline review comments and discussion-thread updates if the integration ships.
pipeline:write
planned write — The planned design could publish a per-commit review status for branch restrictions and pipeline visibility.

Planned review coverage

Designed to carry the same security context

A future Bitbucket review would be intended to surface auth, secrets, injection, unsafe deserialization, and dependency findings with the same severity vocabulary used in the live product. See the current approach on /security.

FAQ

Bitbucket integration FAQ

Honest answers about the planned Bitbucket integration and what is available today.

Is the VeriFlow Bitbucket integration available now?

No. Bitbucket is coming soon and cannot be connected or activated yet. Visitors can request Bitbucket updates from the shared integrations form.

Which Bitbucket hosting options are being considered?

The planned scope includes Bitbucket Cloud workspaces and Bitbucket Data Center deployments, but availability and final support details have not been announced.

What would the planned Bitbucket webhook flow include?

The proposed flow would consider repo:push and pullrequest lifecycle events for review activity. This is planned behavior, not an active connection.

What permission shape is being explored?

The page shows a proposed minimum scope shape for review and transparency. Final scopes will be confirmed before the integration becomes available.
